This high impressive and legendary Sculpture is called "The Horse from Marly" and it is made after an archetype of the French Baroque. It shows a muscular young man keeping a wild and rebelling horse. This beautiful sculpture is signed by the famous Artist Guillaume Cousteau. This is a wonderful big bronze sculpture for an exclusive ambience. In comparison with the original, this sculpture is so filigree as possible. It was made and used to show in an exhibition or for collectors of mythic figures. Our own production control saves the top quality of this beautiful bronze.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

All of our sculptures are also suited for the laying-out of a garden area, where they after a while get a bronze typical patina by weather.

"The Horse from Marly" is a fantastic sculpture made by the French Guillaume Coustou, who was born in 1677. The painter and sculptor Coustou moved to Rom and was working for the French sculptor Pierre Legros. The style of G. Coustou was influenced by Legros and from there on Coustou created baroque styled sculptures, like "The Horse from Marly", which is stored at the Louvre since 1984. Guillaume Coustou moved back to Paris in 1700 and became a professor of the Royal Academie in Paris. The sculptor died in 1746.
