It mirrors a young female ballet dancer, who stands in an upright position. This beautiful and cute dancing girl gives an impression of youth and gracefulness. Especially the folds of her skirt and the satisfied expression of her face are worked in detail. The nice bronze is set on a dark marble base, which is rectangular shaped. The lovely Modern Art sculpture consists of 100% finest bronze and dark polished marble and contains the signature of its sculptor Degas at the bronze base.
