This is a lovely large Art Nouveau bronze bust of a beautiful young woman. This stunning and amazing lifelike bust is a masterpiece of the famous sculptor Auguste Moreau. The young lady is worked very realistically and naturally. The topless beauty is partly covered by a robe of a satin-like cloth. The cloth is wrapped around her shoulders and waist and is kept together by a small and filigree ribbon. The young woman seems very satisfied and ecstatic and offers bravely her breasts. The bust blurs to a bronze plinth at the bottom of the sculpture. This fine Art Nouveau figure is made of 100% bronze and has a signature by its sculptor Auguste Moreau at the reverse side.

The well-known French sculptor Auguste Moreau created this stunning Art Nouveau bronze of a topless beauty. He was born in 1843 in Paris and was the son of the well-known and famous painter Jean-Baptiste Moreau. The sculptor exhibited the first time in 1861 and is nowadays well known for his breathtaking and elegant sculptures of women, like the “Young woman” you can see here. The life of the great Art Nouveau artist Moreau ended in 1917. He is nowadays known as a sculptor with a specific sense for grace and beauty.
